AT RCA'S STUDIO B ON MUSIC ROW

This is the piano used on recordings by Chet Atkins, Dolly Parton, Dottie West, Elvis Presley (Elvis recorded over 200 hits here), The Everly Brothers, Floyd Cramer ("Last Date"), Jim Reeves, Roger Miller, Roy Orbison, Willie Nelson, and many others.

The chance to play this piano was clearly a special treat for Rick, but also for the other members of the tour group, who gave him four ovations for what Rick called "noodling around"!  - TeriJo

Studio B was built by Chet Atkins in 1957, and was the first permanent record company office on Music Row.  Studio B was the home of "The Nashville Sound" and over 1,000 Top Ten hits.
